An Ibiza-style villa in Stapleford…nearly.

The Villa started out as the Garden to number 9 Haverhill Road, when number 9 came up for sale we could see a huge potential in the site and knew we had to buy it.

The brief was to build an Ibiza Villa in Stapleford! …Unfortunately the council rejected the original plans because they wanted to maintain the street scene of traditionally shaped houses as The Villa would be the first or last house in the street.

The site was on the edge of an old pond and sloped away, a few of the sheds and buildings near by had subsided into the area where the pond was.

We think this put a few people off buying it, we used to our advantage by cutting and filling the site from left to right which meant we were able to get a substantial 3rd floor in which accommodated the master bedroom en suite, walk in dressing room and large roof terrace over looking the allotments and far reaching views to the allotment.

The Villa sold instantly to the first people through the door, the project was a huge success!
